Telstra Country Wide® Holiday Promotion

Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions. Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Promotion is open between on 7 March 2006 and 11.59pm AEST on 21 March 2006 (“Promotion Period”).

3. The Promoter is Telstra Corporation Limited ABN 33 051 775 556 of 25/242 Exhibition Street, Melbourne, Victoria, 3000 (“Promoter”).

4. Entry is open to Australian residents who receive the Telstra Country Wide InFront News Edition 11 (“Eligible Entrants”). Management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and any agencies, firms or companies (including Publicis MOJO) associated with the Promotion are ineligible to enter.

5. Eligible Entrants who continue to be registered to receive future editions of Telstra Country Wide InFront News as at 11:59 pm AEST on 21 March 2006, will automatically receive an entry into the prize draw.

6. One entry per Eligible Entrant only.

7. A random, manual prize draw from all eligible entries will be conducted by Publicis MOJO at Level 3, 30 Windmill Street, Walsh Bay, New South Wales 2000 at 2:00pm on 28 March 2006.

8. The Eligible Entrant with the first valid entry drawn at the prize draw will receive a Qantas Holidays Gift Voucher valued at RRP $500. Terms and conditions apply to the use of the Qantas Holidays Gift Voucher and can be found at Qantas Holidays Gift Vouchers. The Qantas Holidays Gift Voucher is valid for 12 months from date of issue. All other costs are the responsibility of the winner.

9. Total prize pool valued at $500.

10. The winner will be notified by telephone within 2 days of the draw and in writing. The winner’s details will be published in The Weekend Australian on 8 April 2006 and in the Edition 12 of Telstra Country Wide InFront News.

11. The Promoter may conduct a further draw at 25/242 Exhibition Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000 if necessary at 2:00pm AEST on 5 July 2006 in order to distribute the prize if it remains unclaimed by that date. The winner of any unclaimed prize will be notified within two days of the draw and in writing. The unclaimed prize winner’s details will be published in The Weekend Australian on 22 July 2006.

12. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If the Promoter is unable to provide the winner with the nominated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value.

13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any technical difficulties or for entries not included for any reason during the Promotion Period.

14. Any entrant who tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism in any way or does not properly comply with the entry process is ineligible to win.

15. The Promoter will not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury which results directly or indirectly from this Promotion, except that which cannot be excluded by law.

16. The judges’ decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

17. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering this Promotion entrants understand and agree that the Promoter may use and disclose the information provided by them on the terms and for the purposes (including marketing) set out in Telstra’s Privacy Statement available at telstra.com/res/docs/collectionstatement.asp or by calling 1800 039 059.
